Eid Mubarak just passed.
It was all about good food and family gathering. Gaining weight and meeting people whose faces start to fade from your memory.
I had several days off during Ied Mubarak holiday, and it was my chance to give my tired body long hour sleep, and delight my appetite towards books and film.
A week after Ied, my best friend Ai got married.
The wedding was held in Bandung, in a pretty place called Maja House. It’s up on the hill, where the sun feels so warm in your skin.
Ai said the wedding vow. My eyes were moist . He’s my best friend for 11 years. We share stories of happiness and shittest moments. And now there he was, stepping into the next phase of life, and I am god damn proud of him.
The wedding party was terrific. I met lotsa good friends, ate delicious padang food, and had a big fat laugh. It is definitely one of the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever attended.
Congratulations my dear Ai & Nuy. Wishing you a happy and blissful marriage.
Cheers to you guys!
The thing I love about postcrossing project is, I always get surprised.
The beautiful image on the postcard, the cute stamp, and the random things the sender wrote. How they describe about the weather there, what their hobby is, their plan for the day, what they study, etc. Little things, that seemed unimportant, but really put a smile on my face.
Anyway, I just started 2 months ago. Let’s hope for many little surprises to come J
